| William G. Jackson, Class of 1958
After graduation Bill Jackson went to work for NWR Electronics
Corporation, an electronic equipment business serving the
upper mid-west. In 1971 he founded Satellite Cable TV a
family-owned cable-television business in the Upper Peninsula.
The business grew undergoing several name changes and spreading
across the United States until finally, in 1983, it became
Cable America Corporation. In 1998 Cable America operated
cable TV systems from Michigan to Alabama and from New Hampshire
to California, in a total of ten states and had become one
of the largest multiple system operators in the United States.
Bill is President and CEO of Cable America Corporation.
