| Kanwalnain S. Rekhi, Class of 1969
Mr. Rekhi founded Excelan in 1982 and was named Chief Executive
Officer of the company in 1985. A leader in TCP/IP networking
technology Excelan became a public company in 1987 and merged
with Novell in 1989. Mr. Rekhi became Executive Vice President
of Novell Corporation and a member of the Board of Directors.
He was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 1987 by the Arthur-Young
Venture Magazine. He received the Michigan Tech Board of
Control Silver Medal in 1993 and was named to the Board
of Advisors to the Michigan Tech President in 1994.
