Dr. Chunxiao (Tricia) Chigan is presently an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan Tech. Her research interests include Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks, Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks, Wireless Network Security, Adaptive Network Protocol Design for Cognitive Radio Networks, Dependable Computing and Communication Systems, and Network Resource Allocation and Management. Prior to joining Michigan Tech, Dr. Chigan was a visiting scholar with the department of High Performance Communications System at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies (Holmdel, NJ). She received the MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, in 2000 and 2002 respectively. Dr. Chigan is a recipient of Michigan Tech Research Excellent Fund (REF) Award (2004), and the National Science Foundation CAREER Award (2007).
