Organizing Research Consortia (panel)
Wednesday, 24 July, 2002, 2:00 PM–5:00 PM Adams Ballroom
Sponsored by: Power Engineering Education Committee
Chair: C. Liu, University of Washington

The PES Power Engineering Education Committee is sponsoring a new panel session to serve as a forum on how to organize a research consortium. A consortium can include multiple institutions, an interdisciplinary team of investigators, and possibly multiple funding agencies.  Therefore, a comprehensive plan is needed to deal with the complexities. The purpose of this panel session is to summarize the experience and obtain recommendations from the panelists.
