Dr. Wayne Weaver is The Dave House Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan Technological University in Houghton Michigan.  He conducts research in power electronics and energy systems.

 

Research interests:

Analysis, control and design of power electronics systems

Microgrids

Design of non-linear and optimal controls

Power system stability

Utility grid interfaces

Energy conversion

Game theory

Electric drives and machinery
