Abstract:
Here the basis
of surround sound formats and the way in which they are output will be
discussed, including some background into the various formats,
specifically
Dolby. The encoding algorithm will be discussed as well as various
problems
with encoding and the solutions used, particularly in the Dolby Digital
Format.
Some implementation issues and testing information are included.
