The American
Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers
(ASHRAE) Scholarship Program is designed to encourage and assist
heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R)
education through its granting of scholarships and fellowships.
Scholarships are available to undergraduate engineering, engineering
technology and graduate students enrolled full-time in a post-secondary
curriculum such as Michigan Technological University .
Undergraduate Engineering
Scholarshipa are available to undergraduate engineering students
enrolled full-time in an ABET-accredited program leading to a Bachelor
of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree. Applicants must have
a cumulative college grade point average of at least 3.0 based on
a 4.0 scale, where 4.0 is the highest and meet all other ASHRAE
basic criteria. Applications, including all supporting documentation,
must be postmarked no later than December 1. Recipients are notified
in the spring with scholarships awarded for study in the following
fall/spring academic year.
