Michigan Tech VLSI CAD Lab conducts research
in the area of Optimizations, Modeling and Simulations of Computer-Aided
Design of VLSI Circuits. The research topics include:
- Nanoscale Interconnect Optimization
- Design For Manufacturability
- Design For Variability
- Hardware acceleration of circuit simulations
- Analysis of large on-chip power/ground networks
- Variational circuit modeling, statistical timing
analysis
Our
research has received best paper award nominations thrice from IEEE/ACM
International Conference on Computer-Aided Design (ICCAD) in 2009, 2008,
and 2006, respectively. We have published over 15 papers in DAC/ICCAD and
we have published 3 papers in ISPD.
