Research Interests


The design automation group at Michigan Technological University develops efficient computer-aided algorithms for modeling, simulation, optimization, and verification of large-scale integrated circuits. We also work on parallel algorithms for emerging energy efficient heterogeneous parallel computing platforms.

Our current research interests include:

 Parallel heterogeneous computing algorithms

 Scalable integrated circuit simulation methods in time and frequency domains

 Analysis, optimization and verification of large-scale power delivery networks (PDNs)

 3D integrated circuit (3D-IC) thermal analysis and optimization

 Interconnect modeling and simulation, parasitics extraction

 Statistical circuit modeling, statistical static timing analysis (SSTA)
